It began with two rescue dogs, one big dream, and a belief that kindness can change a life.
Sunshine Puppy School was created by Timothy Jon Conway—author, engineer, lifelong world-builder, and proud dog dad to the real Scamp and Lady. Their personalities, loyalty, mischief, and love inspired the fictional heroes at the center of the school. They taught Timothy something simple and lasting: being small does not mean being powerless. A brave choice, a welcoming gesture, or one loyal friend can change what happens next.
That truth became Scamp & Lady and the Kindness Pack. The first story opened the gates to something larger: a joyful learning world where children, families, and teachers can explore kindness, courage, creativity, belonging, and care for the Earth together. Scamp and Lady were never just the inspiration. They are the heart of the school.
For more than three decades, Timothy has worked as a plumbing engineer, helping design water systems that support health, communities, and environmental resilience. Engineering taught him to look closely at how systems connect. Storytelling taught him to look closely at how people connect. Sunshine Puppy School brings those lessons together—imagination with practical action, joyful stories with meaningful learning, and kindness with responsibility for the world we share.
Today, the Sunshine Puppy School Eco-Verse is growing around a simple promise: helping every child—and our world—grow into their best life. Its stories and activities celebrate kindness, courage, curiosity, family participation, clean water, gardens, wildlife, and the belief that every child can become a helper.
The dream is still growing, one story and one act of kindness at a time. Every child who wonders, every grown-up who listens, and every family or classroom that chooses to help becomes part of that growth.
